What is Patch Quest?

Deep within a forgotten jungle labyrinth, a Lasso is all that stands between you and vicious monsters! Taking inspiration from roguelikes, metroidvanias, and monster-taming games, Patch Quest is a deceptively difficult genre-defying whirlwind that will lasso you in with its fast-paced gameplay and keep you coming back to expand your monster collection. Do you have the skills to carve a path through this island’s shuffling, patchwork maze?

Patchlantis, once an ancient civilization now fully reclaimed by nature, is filled with fierce monsters, rugged terrain, and booby-trapped ruins. Even the island's patchwork terrain shuffles each night by a powerful storm! When defeated on a run, you’re sent back to base camp, where you can unlock shortcuts and earn powerups—but you'll have to get good to survive.

This island crawls with dangerous monsters that look friendly but hide vicious predators. Use your monster-taming Lasso to mount over 50 species, each with unique skills for flying, swimming, leaping, and combat. Collect monsters, plants, and minerals to venture deeper and unravel the mystery of Patchlantis's fall.
