Frank West, a freelance photojournalist on the hunt for the story of his life, follows a hot tip into a small town - only to find it swarming with zombies! This action-horror game gives the term "shopping hell" a whole new meaning. Dead Rising uses a dynamic real-time system where time passes whether Frank is actively doing something or standing still. For example, zombies move sluggishly during the day but become stronger and faster at sunset, making survival even harder at night. The unprecedented swarms come in endless waves and consist of different population groups. These formerly human beings can still vaguely remember their previous lives, which affects their behaviors and appearances. In the various stores in the shopping mall, you'll find endless resources like vehicles, makeshift weapons, and more. Along the way, you'll meet other survivors.
