From shooting game freaks to office workers, the latest installment in that series that captivated so many users!! Strikers 1999. Autumn, 1999. Countless ultra-microscopic machines called “nanomachines” arrived from space, infiltrating and multiplying within major weapons and military terminals across nations. Weapons rendered unmanned by the nanomachines launched indiscriminate attacks, reducing major cities worldwide to ruins. Then, the terror of all-out nuclear war loomed as tactical nuclear missiles were accidentally launched!! Military units from nations that barely prevented nanomachine infiltration were mobilized for an operation to eliminate the unmanned weapons. But their forces were far too small to fight against the weapons of the entire world. ...Just when it seemed there was no way to oppose them anymore!! The command center received a mysterious transmission. Six bright white trails appeared in the sky... “This is ‘STRIKERS’. We are now commencing an attack on the enemy's central command! We expect rear support from the remaining forces!” After half a century, the new legend of the special forces unit “STRIKERS” begins now!

- 8-stage structure: First 4 stages random (USA, Japan, Russia, Australia), Final 4 stages secret.
- Simultaneous 2-player mode with mid-game join allowed.
- Super Shot: Charge energy by firing at enemies, hold shot for powerful levels 1-3 Super Shots with cancel function.
- Technical Bonus: Destroy boss cores for faster defeats and bonuses.
- Chain Bonus: Collect glowing medals consecutively for high points.

- F/A-18 Super Hornet: Homing Missile, Rapid Missile Super Shot, Super Tomahawk Bomb.
- F-117 Stealth: Heat Mine, Sonic Wave Super Shot, Thunderbolt Bomb.
- F-4 Phantom II: Rolling Napalm, Cross Napalm Super Shot, Samurai Sword '99 Bomb.
- AV-8 Harrier: Straight Missile, Hunter Formation Super Shot, B-52 Bomber Formation Bomb.
