Step onto the battlefield and command your Pokémon directly—there are no turns! For the first time in the Pokémon RPG series, Trainers and their Pokémon can both move around in real-time battles, and your Pokémon will unleash their moves when you tell them to. Strategically swapping out your Pokémon and accounting for each move’s timing and area of effect will greatly help you in this new style of battle.
Harness the power of Mega Evolution
When Trainers have a strong bond with their Pokémon, a Key Stone worn by the Trainer resonates with a Mega Stone held by their Pokémon, allowing Mega Evolution to take place.
Mega evolution goes beyond the limits of standard Evolution, impactive even greater power by temporarily unleashing a Pokémon hidden energy.
Pokémon will change their appearance when they Mega Evolve - and certain ones may even change types - but they're still your same trusty partners!

To redeem via Nintendo Switch eShop
1. Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu to launch the Nintendo eShop
2. Select the account you want to use.
3. Select Enter Code on the left side of the screen.
4. Enter the 16-character download code, which you'll find on your EF Dashboard, then proceed to My Orders to find your code.
The download code (usually begins with a B, no hyphens in the number) and not the Control Number (usually begins with an S, has hyphens).
Any letters and symbols not used with prepaid codes (i.e. O, I, Z, commas, hyphens, etc.) will be disabled from the on-screen keyboard.
5. Select OK to confirm. The game will begin downloading once the code is confirmed.
The game icon will appear on the HOME menu, with a download status bar. The status bar will disappear once the game download is complete.

1. Visit https://ec.nintendo.com/redeem#/ (make sure you sign in with the Nintendo account you want to redeem the code with)
2. Enter your 16-character code, which you'll find on your EF Dashboard, then proceed to My Orders to find your code.
3. Click Next
4. Re-enter your password, then click OK
5. Click Redeem.
