Aris Arcanum is a unique Victorian-era, magic-infused roguelike where you guide scholar Clyde through the cursed Library of Aris. Once destined to lead the grand library, Clyde now confronts the ruin caused by Atramancy, the art of manipulating the occult Ink. This alien entity, sealed deep within the library, enhances magical abilities but drives users to madness, twisting minds and marking bodies with dark sludge.
With mentor Mira lost to the curse, descend into corrupted halls, battle warped scholars, and unravel cosmic horror. Overcome the Ink's scourge to preserve order and reason in Aris. Features include spellcrafting unique magic by combining Ink abilities, experimenting with thousands of builds in a challenging combat system, descending into otherworldly stacks where reality crumbles, and collecting Knowledge to grow wiser with each death.
