Experience the thrill of preserved diesel locomotives on the West Somerset Railway with the Train Simulator: WSR Diesels Loco Add-On. This pack brings two iconic locomotives – the versatile Class 47 and the reliable Class 03 – to life in stunning detail for Train Simulator.
The Class 47, a mainstay of British Rail's diesel era, was one of the first mass-produced locomotives post-steam, with 512 units built for passenger and freight duties. Featured here is D1661 'North Star' in its classic two-tone green livery, complete with long-range fuel tanks from its Western Region service.
The Class 03, a successful 0-6-0 shunter built between 1957 and 1961, handles yard duties with precision. D2133, preserved on the West Somerset Railway, sports its original green livery with yellow ends and has never left Somerset.
Included are BR Mk1 coaches for passenger services and assorted two-axle freight wagons. Both locomotives are Quick Drive compatible, allowing you to drive them on any compatible route. Plus, enjoy three exclusive scenarios for the West Somerset Railway route (sold separately): Class 03 Driver Training, Diesel Gala Days, and Fraught with Freight.
