All Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Maps (Multiplayer)

Teilen

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 maps already show a very different multiplayer direction. Each battlefield pushes you toward a different style instead of repeating one layout formula.

Infinity Ward is also building multiplayer around responsive realism. However, player control remains the priority. Movement stays fluid, while gun handling remains responsive.

The Beta currently reveals six Core 6v6 maps. You also get Kill Block for Gunfight. Ground War adds two larger battlegrounds. Warzone Resurgence introduces Zodiac separately.

So, this guide covers every Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 maps location in detail.

All COD Modern Warfare 4 Maps

Modern Warfare 4 launches with 12 Core 6v6 maps. However, only six Core maps are described in the beta details. So, these are the currently revealed Modern Warfare 4 maps from that Beta breakdown.

Core 6v6 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Maps

The Core maps are built for classic six-versus-six combat. You can expect Team Deathmatch and Domination across these spaces. Hardpoint also makes full use of their rotations.

Hijack and Inflation add new objective pressure. Search and Destroy makes route knowledge especially important.

Cachette

Cachette - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Maps

Cachette takes you to a hidden base beside a French rail terminal. Cobblestone streets connect shipping areas and compact interiors. Rooftops create another level above the central routes. That verticality makes Cachette one of the trickier Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 maps.

You can climb containers when the ground routes become crowded. The upper level also opens access toward the Armory. Explosive Killstreaks can punish busy traffic routes. Meanwhile, close interiors reward quick defensive weapons. The map suits you if you enjoy constantly changing elevation.

Lithium

Lithium

Lithium places you inside a damaged lithium facility in rural Mexico. This map leans heavily toward medium-distance firefights. Assault Rifles fit those lanes well. LMGs can also control longer industrial sightlines. One of Lithium’s neatest mechanics involves its garage doors.

You can partially close them using nearby controls. The gap still leaves enough room for a slide. That gives you a surprising entry option during contested fights. You can also use the camouflaged truck for a stronger eastern angle.

Among the COD 4 MP maps, Lithium rewards patient positioning more than reckless rushing.

Lotus

Lotus Map

Lotus is a damaged Korean fishing village. You move between narrow streets and accessible buildings. Longer sightlines also open across the main road. That mixture makes weapon selection important. A Marksman Rifle works when you hold exterior angles. An SMG becomes more useful once you enter buildings.

You can climb the pipe beside the Boathouse. From there, you can reach the lower roof. You can also enter the second floor. Lotus gives you several ways to change the engagement distance quickly. That makes it one of the more flexible COD 4 multiplayer maps.

Rooftops

Rooftops - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Maps

Rooftops moves the fight above New York. You battle across Hotel Times West during snowy conditions. Walkways connect different parts of the rooftop. Compact indoor rooms give you breaks from exposed areas. The Catwalk beside Construction creates a useful hidden route.

You can drop there and disappear from common sightlines. Airspace is also unusually open. That makes launchers useful against enemy aerial Killstreaks.

Meanwhile, the Patio gives you protected vision across Construction. Rooftops rewards movement more than simply holding one doorway. If you enjoy vertical maps, this should become a memorable pick.

Silkworm

Silkworm

Silkworm keeps the action closer to street level. This South Korean shopping district surrounds a subway entrance. Storefronts and alleys create constant short encounters. Apartments add more cover around the surrounding streets. There are fewer dominant elevated positions here. That pushes you into more direct fights.

Fast Aim Down Sight speed should help when enemies suddenly appear. Main Street also contains several vehicles. Damaging those engines can eventually trigger explosions. You can use that environmental danger against players pushing through predictable routes.

Silkworm should appeal to anyone wanting faster COD 4 maps without excessive vertical play.

Transit 213

Transit 213

Transit 213 takes place inside an overgrown bus depot in western India. Rusting buses split the battlefield into narrow routes. Those buses also provide concealment during close-range movement. However, staying inside them too long can become dangerous. Grenades can easily punish predictable positions.

The Center Lot gives you stronger sightlines across the map. Still, it can expose you from several directions. Transit 213 is smaller than many other Core spaces. So, every reload can become risky.

Fast Hands becomes especially useful when another gunfight starts immediately. Of the current Call of Duty MW4 maps, Transit 213 looks built for nonstop pressure.

Kill Block Gunfight Map

Kill Block Gunfight Map - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 maps

Kill Block

Kill Block supports both 3v3 Gunfight and the new 10v10 variant. This is not a fixed arena in the traditional sense. Instead, Kill Block changes its configuration every two rounds.

Each setup combines three connected scenic Slabs. Your randomized loadout also changes with the map combination. That means you cannot rely on one favorite weapon.

Both teams use identical equipment during each round. Spawn sides also swap before another configuration arrives. If neither side wins through eliminations, an Overtime Flag appears. Kill Block therefore tests adaptation more than memorized opening routes.

Ground War Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Maps

Combat Outpost expands multiplayer gameplay into 24v24 battles. You capture Outposts to create additional spawn locations. You can then reinforce those positions for team rewards.

These maps combine infantry fighting with vehicle combat.

Imjin Farmlands

Imjin Farmlands covers the rural edge of Haijin. Open fields create dangerous long-range exposure. Roads also give vehicles plenty of room to move. The large mill becomes an obvious power position.

You can use its height to watch surrounding movement. However, players approaching the mill can use cover during their push. Launchers become useful because vehicles have limited route choices. Capturing an Outpost is only the beginning.

You should reinforce it before pushing elsewhere. Doing that can unlock stronger team support during the match.

Wolves Stadium

Wolves Stadium gives Ground War a denser urban environment. The area contains several defensible positions. The amphitheater is especially useful against vehicle pressure. Terrain around the stage makes direct vehicle attacks harder. Vertical movement matters throughout the district.

You can use ladders to reach better firing positions. Ascenders offer another fast route upward. Staying near controlled Outposts also lets you replenish supplies. That makes defensive play valuable before your team launches another push.

Zodiac

Zodiac is not one of the traditional Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 maps. Instead, it is the new Warzone Resurgence battlefield shown for Beta Weekend Two.

The map supports 44 players. It surrounds a DRC Advanced Systems drone facility. You can fight around company offices and manufacturing areas. The central Trackline creates another major rotation route.

Underground tunnels give squads another path through the map. Those tunnels can help you escape a bad engagement. They can also set up unexpected flanks.

Long-range players can use rooftops and elevated windows. Meanwhile, aggressive squads can move quickly between buildings.
